Any consideration of raising the retirement age in order to receive Social Security benefits, will be met with a great deal of opposition. This proposal certainly will not affect those that are receiving current benefits, or were born within a certain timeframe. However, should this come up for a vote, in my opinion, it would be a protracted battle between the Republicans and the Democrats….
